Grinders Lands Top Tricks At The 2023 AVN Awards

Adult Time Original Film Grinders took home four major awards from the 2023 AVN Awards in Las Vegas this past weekend including the biggie for Grand Reel. Other awards included Tommy Pistol for Best Supporting Actor, Michael Hues for Best Editing, and and the award for Best Soundtrack. It should also be noted that the film’s star, newcomer Lucky Fate, also took home the award for Best Male Newcomer.

Grinders follows Lucky Fate as a skater kid in late ‘90s Los Angeles wandering the city, landing tricks, running into old friends, and making new enemies. Lucky has the potential and talent to go far, but is stuck in a dead-end life amongst his clique of criminally delinquent friends. After reconnecting with his former high-school crush Morgan (Maya Woulfe), he sees an opportunity to start fresh with her out in Texas rather than stay and follow in the footsteps of his deadbeat dealer dad (Tommy Pistol).

Directed by Ricky Greenwood, Grinders was inspired by classic 90’s skateboard movies and shot in a documentary fashion. It stars Lucky Fate, Maya Woulfe, Tommy Pistol, Charlotte Sins, Vanna Bardot, Robby Echo, Lilly Bell, Vicki Chase, and Nathan Bronson, and is available on

SCREW awarded Grinders a respectable 4.5 out of 5 erections on our PeterMeter in October 2022. Click here for a free preview.
